We lived in a tiny apartment in San Francisco with no parking spot and owned 3 cars. I used public transportation to get to/from work, so I really didn’t need it. Fast forward 2 years, I now live in Oregon (where it rains all the time and we plan on doing a lot more outdoor stuff) and drive to work…that would’ve been the perfect car for living out here.

Nice! Amazing how well these things can dance with a little work. I might be picking up a green Ur-S4 soon for super cheap. It’s beat up and has needs, but the price is right and it’s from a good friend, same guy I got my 4000Q from.

Ooh, blue would be good but it’s never as simple as a head gasket and I’d be worried about corrosion.

Yep, still have the 4000, though I ruined it with a bunch of scaffolding. I daily drove it for some time before turning it into a LeMons car, we did one race and it’s sat since. I have a complete set of replacement panels for it from a parts car.
